Inside, the Transcona Country Club boasts stunning floor-to-ceiling windows, large foyers with an abundance of natural light, soaring 30’ ceilings, beautifully hand detailed fireplaces with walkout to courtyards, seating for up to 2000, and complete audio/visual facilities.
Our main entrance has been revamped with lots of oak and mirrors and an impressive fireplace complete with mantel and hearth. Of course, parking is free and hall rental is free when we provide you with one of our exquisite meals. We also provide complete banquet co-ordination services.
Outside, the Transcona Country Club is surrounded by spectacular rolling hills, forests and glorious gardens, a perfect surrounding for your guests. The club also features an expansive terrace and gazebo.
The Transcona Country Club boasts four classically decorated ballrooms. The Patio Room may accommodate up to 150 guests, while the Lakeview Lounge provides an intimate setting for as many as 250 people. The Manitoba Room allows for up to 450 guests, while the magnificent Convention Room can hold up to 2000 guests.
Each room is completely independent of one another. Each has its own entrance, coat room, private lobby, bridal room and rest rooms. This allows for complete privacy for all functions. Parking is Complimentary. We offer multiple air-conditioning units to provide perfect air control, as well as handicap facilities for special needs guests and a special room for nursing mothers.
The Transcona Country Club proudly displays all of its entrees on fine Royal Doulton China, accompanied by stemware and exquisite polished cutlery. Tapered candleholders and bud vases are available at no charge upon the client’s request.
For your dancing entertainment, the Transcona Country Club may arrange a disc jockey that is highly specialized acoustic sound systems for each hall, as well as a wireless microphone. The systems have been specially designed and programmed to enhance the mood and effects of your entrance, first dance, head table, speeches, and of course dancing.
Our commitment to excellence also extends to Food and Beverage, where our team of highly skilled chefs, led by Executive Chef Sophie Fields prepare and serve meals that reflect the facility’s overall reputation for excellence.
